Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Lohegaon celebrated 14 glorious years of existence on 18th July 2022. On this occasion, Grade X students held a special assembly. It was an exciting day for the school, as the students and the staff cherished the journey of the school and reflected upon the school’s growth over the last 13 years.
Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Lohegaon renders quality and comprehensive education in a safe and caring environment. The students are encouraged to achieve individual excellence; become productive citizens and attain expertise in their fields of interest.
The program commenced with a prayer and followed by a beautiful thought. The thought stated that one should never give up on what one really wants to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts. If we have good thoughts, they will shine out of our face like sunbeams, and one will always look lovely. A person is brave when he believes in himself, becomes strong and smart when he thinks deep.
The school head girl Mankirat Kaur apprised the audience about the school’s voyage from 2009 to 2022. The students also performed a mellifluous group song titled ‘A Million Dreams’, which inspired the audience realize their dreams with faith, conviction, hard work, determination, and dedication. A beautiful classical dance performance was rendered by Grade 10 after the song.
The Coordinator Ms. Swapna Nair addressed the school and extended her warm wishes and instilled the students with positivity and aimed to keep the school flag flying high.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Roshya Ann and the National Anthem.
It was a day of reminiscing our very beginning which the students and teachers enjoyed alike.
